Step 1: Intake and preliminary examination
During an initial appointment, we discuss your wishes and options. Sometimes it is necessary to delay treatment or refer you to other specialists first. We also make a 3D scan, X-rays and photographs of your mouth and face to get a complete picture. The cost for this is approximately €220 if recent X-rays and study models have not already been taken by our practice.
Step 2: Creating the treatment plan
The data collected is used to create a detailed 3D simulation of how your teeth will shift. Once approved by the dentist, we discuss this final plan with you.
Step 3: Order and place aligners and perform checks. Every 6, 8 or 12 weeks, we schedule a checkup appointment. During these appointments, we make any adjustments, answer your questions and make sure the treatment is running smoothly.
Step 4: Completion
At the end of treatment, we evaluate the results together. We discuss whether the goals were achieved, whether additional aligners are needed, or whether we can proceed to the next phase
