If your oral health is stable, your periodic checkup can be performed by a dental hygienist or prevention assistant in conjunction with the Dental Spa. They will take extensive time with you and can immediately identify any abnormalities during the dental cleaning.
If you have any doubts or questions, you will always be referred to the dentist. The advantage for you is that you can have everything done at once, so you only need to schedule one appointment.
This procedure is similar to the care surrounding a pregnancy: check-ups are often performed by an obstetrician, and in case of peculiarities, a referral to the gynecologist follows.
Of course, you are always free to make an appointment for a check-up with the dentist himself. Please note that a combined appointment for teeth cleaning and checkup will then have to be scheduled as 2 separate appointments online, whereby these appointments cannot always take place consecutively.
